Jacari volunteer Ellie Pogrund and her friends Izzy and Eleanor ran the Bath Half marathon in March and raised an amazing £725 for Jacari! Ellie told us "We were really pleased we fundraised for such a great charity!"

Bristol University student Ellie has been volunteering for Jacari as a tutor since November 2023 and such has been her dedication, we've made her one of our volunteers of the term.

"I look forward to my Jacari lesson every week. It is a joy to teach such enthusiastic students and watch their English ability and confidence grow during the year. I always leave feeling energised and with a smile on my face! Thank you to Jacari for making this possible and supporting volunteers so well throughout the year."
