We are currently recruiting for the following role:
We are pleased to be looking for a Charity Manager to manage all aspects of our organisation.
A rewarding and varied role, as Charity Manager, you will manage all aspects of Jacari, leading the staff team, maintaining oversight of programme delivery, managing operations, and working with the board of trustees to develop and implement our strategic plans. This exciting role offers scope to develop a well-established charity working to address educational inequality and support young people from refugee and migrant communities.
Your key responsibilities would include:
Staff management, leadership and HR
Finance and fundraising
Networking and publicity
Legal and administrative tasks
Working with the Board of Trustees
We are looking for someone with experience of leadership, including managing innovative projects and monitoring their impact and of building and managing a team of staff and/or volunteers. We are really keen to hear from people passionate about educational equality, who show commitment to work with young people and/or those from marginalised communities.

Location: Bristol or Oxford/hybrid with flexible working
Hours: 30 hours / 4 days a week (with possibility of full-time work)
Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)
Closing date: 27th February 2024
Interview date: 11th March 2024 (interviews will be held in our Bristol office - travel expenses can be reimbursed)
