Ways to stay involved with Jacari

 

From keeping in touch, helping us raise vital funds and sharing your expertise, there are plenty of ways to continue your involvement with Jacari. For more information, please contact our Alumni Engagement Officer, Natasha Wooldridge by emailing alumni@jacari.org

• Join our Board of Trustees - we are interested in hearing from prospective Trustees to diversify our board. Our Trustees meet (currently virtually) every quarter and provide ad hoc support throughout the year to our small team
    

• Become a specialist adviser - do you have a specific area of expertise which could be helpful to Jacari? We could particularly benefit from support from HR experts and solicitors.
   

• Offer careers advice or professional development - We'd love to hear from you if you have experience that could be of value to our volunteers, either while they are tutoring or for their future career. This could be delivered as a short, focused online session to our volunteers, or one-to-one mentoring.  
   

• Help us translate letters to parents - do you speak another language? We send an introduction letter to parents of new Jacari pupils and would like to translate this template into as many languages as possible.
   

• Make a donation or fundraise for Jacari - every donation, however small, makes a difference, helping to build the confidence and improve the language skills of children who are struggling at school.
