Charity of Thomas Dawson grant

March 27, 2025

We are so pleased that the Charity of Thomas Dawson has chosen to grant Jacari £10,000 a year for three years towards our work in Oxford. This will help us to provide free tutoring for 20 children and young people who use English as an additional language every year from 2025 to 2027.

The Charity of Thomas Dawson supports education and the relief of poverty in Oxford city. The bequest in 1521 by Thomas Dawson of a number tenements established a Charity which continues to adhere to his wish to support the church of St Clement and its parish. Over the years that giving has broadened into poverty relief through supporting education in all forms and awarding grants to local charities who support disadvantaged communities in Oxford.

We are so proud to receive this support and would like to thank the Trustees of the Charity of Thomas Dawson for awarding Jacari this grant.
