We were really pleased to host our first kids' event of the academic year recently - a theatre show and workshop at The Trinity Centre, Bristol, with Theatre Company Spilt Ink.
We took a group of over 20 children from one of our partner primary schools, Bannerman Road Community Academy, who enjoyed watching a performance of 'Nest', a play telling the story of a young girl's magical adventures in a new land having been uprooted from her home. With truly atmospheric lighting, and fantastic performances from the actors, the children were all completely captivated during the show!
We then enjoyed a drama workshop, which the children were all really engaged in. Their teacher commented on how they never get to do that sort of thing so it was great to give them the opportunity.
All-in-all, it was a fantastic way to spend a Friday afternoon!
