We are delighted to receive a grant from The Society of Merchant Venturers, which will go towards funding our tuition programme in Bristol in the next academic year.
Originally a trade association for Bristol’s maritime merchants, The Society of Merchant Venturers is now a social purpose organisation whose members share a determination for Bristol to become a place of equality and inclusion. Their activities today are focused on helping communities across Greater Bristol to thrive. One of their main objectives for charitable giving is focused on the education of disadvantaged young people in Bristol.
They also sponsor a multi-academy trust which runs schools in Bristol, four of which we partner with, offering tutoring and extracurricular activities to their EAL pupils.
